Baked Hamburg
1/2 lbs chopped beef minced or hoarsely chopped
1/2 cup suet
1/2 teaspoon chopped onion
1/3 cup bread crumbs
1/2 tablespoon butter
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Take the minced beef or hoarsely chopped burger beef and mix this chopped meat with suet, finely chopped white onion, the bread crumbs, finely chopped fresh parsley, and a good pinch of salt thoroughly. Place the minced burger meat in one layer into a well greased casserole, sprinkle the top of it with the bread crumbs, and dot with butter. Bake the burger meat in the hot oven until nicely browned. If preferred- 15 mins to the end of the cooking- cover with the tomato sauce and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
