 Favorite Chicken 

1 medium sized fowl 

1 cup celery 

2/3 cup cream or top milk 

9 oz package elbow macaroni 

Salt to taste 

Dash of paprika 

Little chopped parsley 

 Choose a fowl not too fat, cut in pieces, place in deep kettle cover well with water, add salt. Cover and cook 12 hours. Do not remove from fire. Add 1 cup celery cut in one inch pieces. and the macaroni. cook until tender about thirty minutes. The broth should be quite low by this time. so just before with a removing from fire. add cream or top milk. Serve on hot platte. garnishing dash of paprika and finely chopped parsley.
