Scalloped Beef (A delicious made over dish )
Beef
Tomato sauce
Butter
Bread crumbs
A delicious made over dish.
Chop left over meat quite fine or dice it if you prefer. Season well. For one cup of meat take one cup of tomato sauce. Put a layer of meat in bottom of buttered casserole, then layer of tomato sauce, repeat until dish is full, having sauce on top. Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs, and bake twenty minutes See Menu VII A recipe for the tomato sauce follows
