Scalloped Beef (A delicious made over dish )
1 cup of minced Beef
1 cup of tomato sauce
1/2 cup of butter
1 cup of bread crumbs
A delicious made over dish, allows you to use the leftovers of the party and that little piece of beef roast which was staying in the fridge for quite a while- for the sandwich.
Chop the leftover beef meat quite fine or you may dice it, if you prefer. There should be no less than a cup of a diced beef. Season the beef well with black pepper. For one cup of leftover beef meat you should take one cup of tomato sauce. Put a layer of meat into bottom of buttered casserole, then pour over this meat a layer of the tomato sauce,(or you may use the diced tomatoes if you like), and repeat this exactly until your baking dish is full, and you are having the layr of tomato sauce on the top of your casserole. Sprinkle the top of your casserole with the buttered bread crumbs, and bake for no less than twenty minutes.
