Bread Crumb Dressing

 Bread Crumb Dressing 

1 cup of dried bread crumbs

2 tablespoons butter

1 chopped onion

1 teaspoon chopped celer

1 teaspoon salt

a dash of pepper

1/4 teaspoon thyme

1/2 teaspoon parsley

 2 tablespoons of liquid milk

To 1 cup of dried bread crumbs add 2 tablespoons butter, 1 chopped onionm 1 teaspoon chopped celery, 1 teaspoon salt, a dash of pepper, 1/4 teaspoon thyme, 1/2 teaspoon parsley, and 2 tablespoons of liquid milk or stock. Put butter in frying pan, when melted, add onion and cook until tender and yellow. Add crumbs and seasonings and mix well .Add liquid and fry until slightly yellow. If you like it more moist, a well egg may be added. See Menu II.
