Lemon Marmalade

 Lemon Marmalade 

9 lemons 

6 lbs granulated 

4 quarts water 

Slice lemons very thin, removing seeds. Pour water over slices and let stand in cool place  for 24 hours. Boil lemons hard for one hour. Add sugar to the lemons and boil until thick and clear. Put into jelly glasses.
