Apple Dumplings
1 pckg of frozen dough
6 tart apples
1/2 cup of white granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Peel and cut tart apples into halves, sprinkle with white granulated sugar and leave for an hour a minnimum- best two three hours to get the juice nice. Put the kettle on the stove and parboil the apples in more water than for sauce. until they are half tender. Thaw your frozen dough out and have it ready light dough cut in as many round pieces as you have of prepared apple halves. To make a dumpling- lay a piece of dough on each apple, cover it with a dough and make a dumpling. Continue so, until the dough is done. Boil the dumplings in the salty water for 5-8 minutes. Lift the dumpling out carefully from the ketttle and serve with sweetened condensed cream on the top or with the dollop of the fat vanilla ice-cream, or with the dollop of the heavy whipping cream on the top.
