Lemon Ice

 Lemon Ice 

4 cups of cold water 

2 cups of white granulated sugar

 3/4 cup of fresh  lemon juice - lime juice will do fine as well

 Make a syrup from boiling water and sugar and boil it for five-10 minutes on a slow fire, then slowly stir in the lemon juice. Turn the fire off, cool the syrup down, strain through the cheesecloth when cool and freeze in the buttered molds in freezer.
