For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert topping of the beginning of the last century you will need:
1 pint of maple syrup
2- 3 pints of marshmallow creme dressing
MAPLE DRESSING No. 2
For this type of dessert topping and dessert sauce, you mix one part of the maple syrup with two or three parts of the marshmallow creme dressing syrup. Then you whip those two syrups together, but do not mix only- whip them both together. The quantity you make is depending upon the strength of your maple syrup itself- different brands of the maple syrup are of different concentration.
