For this classic Native American Pond Lily Puffs you will need
2 eggs
1 cup of white all purpose wheat flour
1/2 cup of jelly cubes
Mix two whole eggs with enough of white wheat all purpose flour to make a stiff dough. Roll out this dough very very thin. Cut the dough in pairs using two cooky cutters of two different sizes- cut the dough into the shape of a six-angled star. Press a smaller star on a larger one and drop them both into a boiling hot fat. Hold them gether for a moment with a fork or they float apart before they begin to fry. Wait until the points of the stars will curl up much like the petals of the white pond lily. Serve the lilies with a cube of a jelly in the center.
