For this classic Native American A Good Farina Pudding you will need
1/2 of pint of a rich sweet fresh milk
1 teaspoon of butter
3 Tablespoons of farina
3 Tablespoons of white granulated sugar
vanilla to taste
4 eggs
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
To make this farina pudding you need to take half of a pint of sweet rich milk and add into it a little salt teaspoonful of butter and bring it to a boiling. When boiling, add to the milk three tablespoonfuls of farina. Let it get thick until stiff and then add three tablespoons of sugar and vanilla flavoring to taste. Slowly stir into the beaten yolks of four eggs and lastly, fold into your pudding the whites the eggsbeaten to a stiff froth. Pour your pudding into a mold, well buttered and spread with cracker dust or breadcrumbs. Steam in the water bath for three quarters of an hour. Serve your pudding cold or hot .If you serve it cold- serve with whipped cream and sugar, if hot- with the sweet sauce.
