Cauliflower au Gratin -CLASSICS OF THE AMERICAN METHODIST FAMILIES

 The Classic Grand Americana recipe. The popular Cauliflower au Gratin  recipe was recommended to all the Methodist families of the United States of America in 1908 all year. The original recipe of the STATE OF ALASKA NATIVE INDIAN TRIBE SIOUX.

For this classic Native American  Cauliflower au Gratin you will need

1 head of the white cauliflower

2 cups of cream sauce

1 cup of the grated cheese

Wash  the head of cauliflower and soak it in cold salty water for at least three hours. Then tear it into the little pieces and  put it into the boiling salted water boil until it is tender,Turn your cauliflower it into a well greased baking dish pour over cream sauce and  dust it with grated cheesem and brown it in the medium hot oven for about 45 minutes.

 This is an exceedingly nice way to serve a loose head of boiled cauliflower because it can be broken apart on the table. A fresh solid head of cauliflower may be simply boiled and served with cream sauce poured on the top.
