Baked Bananas
6 bananas
6 tablespoons of water
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Juice of 1.2 lemon
Peel and scrape bananas. Cut in halves lengthwise, and put in buttered casserole. Sprinkle with sugar. Pour water over bananas, and bake in a moderate oven until bananas are a rich color. May be served as main dish of meal for children supplemented with green vegetable, and simple dessert or as a dessert for the whole family after a light meal See Menu I
