Baked Peas
1 can peas drained
5 slices of bacon diced
1 1/2 cups dry bread crumbs
11/2 cup milk or cream
Salt to taste
Fry diced bacon until crisp ,and mix with peas and milk. Then put bread crumbs into the bacon fat, which was left in frying pan and mix well .Put bacon and pea mixture into a buttered baking dish. Pour bread crumbs over the top, and bake in a moderate oven until crumbs are well toasted and crunch. Mrs ART Valley City ND
