Papaya Meringue

 Papaya Meringue 

To 2 cups of papaya stewed and strained add 

 3 /4 cup sugar 

1 tablespoon butter 

 Yolks of three eggs 

Juice and grated rind 2 limes

Pkg of pastry

6 table spoons white sand sugar

Line two pieplates with pastry, put in the papaya mixture and bake in moderate oven until firm about 45 minutes. Cover with a meringue made from the beaten egg. white sand 6 table spoonsful of sugar and brown in oven.
