Papaya Cakes
1 papaya
2 eggs
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
3 table spoons of brown sugar
drippings, fat
salt
Stew a ripe papaya. When coldm shape into small cakesm adding sufficient bread crumbs to hold them together, Dip in egg yolk, then in bread crumbs, fry in deep fat and drain well before serving, Papaya also as a vegetable is good just stewed with a little brown sugar salt and butter.
