Apple Fritters
11/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoonful salt
1 beaten egg
2/3 cupful of milk
Sift together 11/2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoonful salt. Add 1 beaten egg to 2/3 cupful of milk and gradually add the dry ingredients. Let stand for an hour or more. Peel, core and cut apples in half, and dip in the batter and dry a delicate brown in deep hot grease.
