Cream Nut Candy

 Cream Nut Candy 

4 pounds of granulated sugar

1 pint of water,

4 tablespoonfuls of thick cream

4 tablespoonfuls of vinegar

1/2 cup butter

1 cup meats of nuts

Take Four pounds of granulated sugar, one  pint of water, four tablespoonfuls of thick cream, four tablespoonfuls of vinegar, butter lump size of an egg. Boil all slowly as three-quaters of an hour, then add one cupful of minced meats of nuts, and pour onto buttered tins to cool.
