Oyster and Almond Stuffing
2 cups oysters
2 cups stale bread crumbs
1/2 cup almonds chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup oyster liquor and hot water
3 tablespoons butter
Drain the oysters and cut in pieces. Add the bread crumbs, almonds, seasonings and lemon juice. Strain and heat the oyster liquor, and if necessary, add hot water to make correct proportions. Melt the butter in this liquid, and add to other ingredients, Use for turkey of chicken.
