Tomato Jelly

 Tomato Jelly 

311/2 cups tomatoes 

1 bay leaf 

3 cloves 

 1/4 teaspoon pepper

11/2 teaspoon salt 

1/4 cup vinegar 

 2 tablespoons minced onion 

 3 tablespoons minced celery 

1/4 tablespoons gelatin 

2 tablespoons sugar 

 Cook the tomatoes and seasoning together for twenty minutes. Soften the gelatin with one fourth cup of  cold water. Strain the tomatoes and while hot add the gelatin and vinegar, and stir thoroughly. Pour into the molds and chill.
