Chocolate Pie
1cup of fresh sweet milk
1 Tablespoon of butter
1/2 cup of white granulated sugar
2 Tablespoons of black grated chocolate (Baker's works fine)
2 Tablespoons of white all purpose flour
2 egg
1/2 teaspoon of Morton salt
1 pie crust
s Let one cup of sweet milk, 1 big spoon of butter, half cup of white granulated sugar and the two spoons of grated black chocolate( or two big spoons of dark cocoa) come to boil. Beat flour with the egg yolks and with enough milk to make a smooth batter, then add this to the scalding milk cook thoroughly in the water bath in the double boiler until it thickems. Then fill with this filling your pie crust previously baked according to the instructions. Use the egg whites for icing- beat them with a pinch of salt and half of the cup of the white sugar, cover with the foam of the egg whites and put it into the medium hot owen for 25 min- until you have a nice brown crust.
