MAPLE HONEY DRESSING
For this type of dessert topping and dessert sauce, you take one half of the gallon of the Maple syrup( which is a thin syrup compared to the thickness of the honey) and mix this syrup in the cast iron kettle with the half of a gallon of the strained honey. Put the kettle on the stove, and heat the syrup on a gentle slow fire until the honey melts fully and is thoroughly incorporated into the syrup. Turn the fire off and let it cool down.
