For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert topping of the beginning of the last century you will need:
1 No. 10 cone of maple nut ice-cream
1/8 th of the cantaloupe melon
1/2 ounce of granulated maple sugar
1 red color Maraschino cherry
MAPLE MELON FLOAT SUNDAE
For this type of dessert topping and dessert sauce, you take one No. 10 cone of maple nut ice- cream and put it into a champagne flute shape sundae cup. You then put a portion of a cantaloupe melon into a sundae cup at the side of the ice- cream. You add the festive touch by sprinkling onto it 1/2 of one ounce the granulated maple sugar.
