For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert topping of the beginning of the last century you will need:
2 No. 16 cones of vanilla ice-cream
1 fluid ounce of maple nougat candies dressing
1/2 ounce of nougat candies
1ounce of ground nut meats
2 ounces of the whipped cream
MAPLE NUT NOUGAT SUNDAE
For this type of dessert topping and dessert sauce, you take two No. 16 cones of vanilla ice- cream and place them on the nice oblong white dish. You then pour over this sundae one ounce of the maple nougat candy dressing and sprinkle it with 1/2 ounce of the nougat candies. You add the festive touch by sprinkling onto it 1 of one ounce the ground nut meats. The finishing touch- 2 ounces of the whipped cream.
