MAPLE PECAN PARFAIT -CLASSICS OF THE AMERICAN PHARMACIES

For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert topping of the beginning of the last century you will need:
1 No 10 scoop of maple ice-cream
2 ounces (2 ladles) of whipped cream
1 ounce (2 big spoons) of chopped pecan nut meats
1 red Maraschino cherry
MAPLE PECAN PARFAIT
For this type of dessert topping and dessert sauce, you put one No 10 disher of maple ice- cream into the nice glass sundae bowl. Add to the top of the ice-cream and 2 ounces of whipped cream. Sprinkle the top of the parfait with 2 ounces of finely chopped pecan nut meats. You finish with this topping by adding to the top a nice red maraschino cherry.
