Baked Custard
4 eggs
1 pint milk
21/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp vanilla
Heat the milk in a double boiler and the eggs and add sugar, and salt. Pour the hot milk slowly over the egg mixture, stirring it constantly. Pour then the custard into the baking the baking dish.Set the baking dish in a pan of hot water and bake in a moderate oven up to thirty minutes.
