CHOCOLATE NUT SUNDAE

  The Classic Grand Americana recipe. The popular ice-cream dessert was  sold in all the pharmacies of the United States of America in 1908. The original recipe. 

For this original American  sundae dessert of the beginning of the last century  you will need:

 2 quarts of  Chocolate syrup 

2 quarts of finely chopped English walnuts 

This is the traditional topping of the American pharmacies and the ice-cream parlours. Mix the chocolate syrup with the finelyt chopped English walnuts. Serve this topping with  a ladle of this dressing over a ladleful of ice cream and  add to the top off with heavy sweet whipped cream and one whole cherry.
