Christmas Soup
8 tablespoons fat
1 cup spinach
4 tablespoons flour
1 4 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
2 red pimientos
2 Nutmeg
Boil the water, add fat and spinach, cook all together.
Melt the fat and add flou,r salt and milk. Stir constantly, till it boils, and add the spinach finely chopped, and the pimientos cut in small pieces. Sprinkle a few gratings of nutmegs over each serving of the soup.
