Filled Cookies
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups butter
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
2 cups or less flour
Take 3 eggs, 2 cups sugar, 2 cups butter, 1 cup milk, add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 heaping teaspoons baking powder and 2 cups or less flour to make a dough stiff enough to handle. Roll out 11/2 the dough, cut into shape, put in a greased pan and place on each cookie first a layer of jelly, then a layer of chopped nuts, and lastly on the top- place a layer of raisins or cocoanuts. Place another cookie on the top and bake in a quick oven.
