Frosted Creams
1 cup sugar
1 cup lard
1 cup molasses
2 teaspoons ginger
2 teaspoons soda
1 cup boiling water
An inexpensive frosted cream recipe Take 1 cup sugar, 1 cup lard, 1 cup molasses, 2 teaspoons ginger, 2 teaspoons sodaM dissolved in 1 cup boiling water. Mix in flour to be stiff enough, to spread in pans and bake. When done, frost and cut into any desired shape.
