BROWN STONE FRONT SUNDAE
2 Tablespoons of powdered black cocoa
1 Tablespoon of hot water
1 TAblespoon of sugar syrup or chocolate syrup
1/2 spoon of chopped pecans
1/2 spoon of chopped English walnuts
1/2 spoon of chopped almonds
This is the famous American recipe of 1916. The topping for the vanilla ice-cream, served in all the pharmacies of the United States of America. To prepare this famous topping, make a thick smooth paste of the good quality powdered black cocoa and hot water, and add to this paste the tablespoon of a simple sugar syrup or the chocolate syrup, until the correct consistency is obtained. Stir into this topping sufficiently enough of chopped pecans, walnuts and almonds- chopped together. Serve this topping over the vanilla or cherry ice- cream.
