1/2 fl ounce of lemon syrup
1 dram of lemon juice
1 dram of angostura bitters
carbonated water or club soda
1 teaspoon of powdered sugar
Take your lemon syrup and pour into the shaker, add to it 1/2 ounce of lemon juice and 1 dram of angostura bitters , shake and strain into the 12 ounce serving glass. Pour on the top the carbomated water in coarse stream, just enough to fill three fourths of a 12 ounce serving glass. Stir into the coctail a teaspoonful of the powdered sugar and drink this coctail effervescence.
