Fruit Salad
This is traditional fruit salad recipe of my family from SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
1 small pineapple or 1/ 2 of one can of sliced pine apple
2 oranges
1/2 lb white grapes
2 apples
2 bananas
1 head of crisp lettuce
Wash your fresh white grapes, slice the grapes into halves and put them into a bowl with two sliced oranges, two nicely chopped apples and two finely chopped bananas, For this proportion 1/2 lb of white grapes is enough. You may add ground English Walnuts into this salad, when obtainable. Place this salad on a crisp lettuce leaf and serve the salad with a Tablespoon of a fresh mayonnaise over the salad.
