Date Ice-Cream
5 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 qt of heavy cream
1 teaspoon of vanilla
2 cups of milk
1/4 cup finely chopped dates
Beat 5 eggs with 1 cup of sugar until light. Whip up 1 qt of cream until stiff, add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract then add eggs and sugar and 2 cups of milk, and put into freezer and when half done, add 1/4 cup finely chopped dates. Finish freezing and mold. Turn out and decorate with dates and stars of whipped and sweetened cream.
