CREME DE MENTHE FRAPPE
This raspada- shaved ice drink was served in American pharmacies since 1908. This is the classic original recipe.
9 ounces of shaved ice
1 ounce of creme de menthe syrup
1 ounce of creme de menthe cherries syrup
1 sprig of mint
carbonated water or club soda
Pour into 12 ounces of sundae serving glass, nearly filled with 9 ounces of the shaved ice one ounce of creme de menthe syrup. On the top of the creme de menthe syrup one ounce of creme de menthe cherries is poured and the raspada is decorated with and a sprig of mint. It maybe served as well in an eight ounce serving glass with plain carbonated water, or the same club soda.
