MALTED FUDGE SUNDAE - CLASSICS OF THE AMERICAN PHARMACIES

The original recipe of the New England, Boston, and New York pharmacies. The sundae was sold in the pharmacies for 15 cents of 12 ounces serving glass.
For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert of the beginning of the last century you will need:
No 8 cone of vanilla ice-cream
1 teaspoon of malted milk powder (Horlick's)
2 ounces of the whipped cream
1 red maraschino cherry
Put a No 8 cone of plain vanilla ice-cream in a champagne shape sundae cup and sprinkle it over with a teaspoonful of malted milk powsder. This sundae may be as well topped with the two ounces of heavy whipped cream, if desired. Decorate with maraschino cherry, if you wish.
