For this original American classic ice-cream- sundae dessert of the beginning of the last century you will need:
1 quart of rich chocolate syrup
1/2 pint of maple syrup
1 pound of malted milk powder
To make this malted milk sweet sauce and the malted milk fudge dressing for your desserts, add 1 quart of the good quality rich chocolate syrup to 1/ 2 pint of the maple syrup and reduce this to a paste with 1 pound of malted milk. This is a good topping for traditional desserts as ice-cream sundae or the pancakes or waffers.
