For those Dainty Sausage Fingers you will need
Some Sausage Meat -1 lb
1 Pie Crust
1 Beaten Egg
Roll out the pie crust as thin as for a pie, cut it out into the little oval pieces of three inches long, and lay a piece of sausage meat the size of a pencil (about two inches and a half long) onto the crust longwise, fold the crust all around it tightly, and wet the edges to hold it together. Place the sausage fingers into a baking pan, brush them over the tops with the cold beaten egg, and bake them in a hot oven to a delicate brown.
