Chocolate Nut Cookies
1 cup brown sugar
11/2 cups flour
11/2 cup butter
11/2 cup sour milk
11/2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 squares chocolate
1 cup chopped walnuts
11/2 teaspoon salt nut meats
Cream sugar and shortening, sour milk, melted chocolate, flour with salt and soda ,then add vanilla and nuts. When thoroughly mixed. drop from teaspoon oon onto greased pans. Bake in moderate oven until crisp. These are very nice covered with preferred icing and sprinkled chopped nut meats. Mrs AM Man chester N Η
