Nutritious Bread Omelet
For the Nutritious Bread Omelet you will need
3 Eggs
1 Slice of Bread
Salt and Pepper to Taste accordingly
1 Tablespoonful of Sweet Fresh Butter
A Little Splash Milk
Separate the whites of the cold eggs from the yolks. Soften the bread with a little milk, and add the half or 1/3rd of yolks of the egg well beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper. Melt the butter in an omelet-pan or a deep iron skillet or the frying-pan, and pour into the hot melted butter the bread mixture, and cook care fully, turning up the edge to see if it is beginning to brown. Cover the yolks of the eggs, as lightly as possible, with the whites of the eggs stiffly beaten, not smoothing down much. Place the omelet into a hot oven, and cook until the white of the egg will not adhere to the finger, when touched. Return the omelette to the top of the stove and with a pancake-turner fold in the yolks over the whites, making a thick light omelet, with the white between the yellow parts. Turn it out on to a hot platter. and sprinkle over with sugar, and serve at once.
