Summer Squash 

1 tea spoon of salt 

2 tablespoons of butter

1 tablespoon of cream 

Select young tender summer squash. Wash and peel, and cut into small pieces. Cook in boiling water until tender. Drain thoroughly, mash, and add a tea spoon of salt 2 tablespoons of butter and a tablespoon of cream Menu XIII
