PEACH MIX
Classic American refreshment beverage, recipe of raspada- shaven ice with fruit syrup. sold before WW2 in American pharmacies. This is the original recipe.
To make this recipe at home you will need :
1 ounce of concentrated peach juice
3/4 glassful of ice in shavings - 9 ounces
1 ounce of cream syrup
1 ounce of white powdered sugar
Fill the 12 ounces serving glass with carbonated water-3/4 of the glass (9 ounces), and add to this glass 1 teaspoonful of white powdered sugar, one ounce of peach syrup and one ounce of a cream syrup and a slice of peach. If obtainable - add the slice of peach, if not, you may as well use a slice of orange, or two cherries, Serve with straws.
