RASPBERRY SHERBET
1 quart raspberries
1 cup water
1/4 cups sugar
1 egg white
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Wash berries carefully, cover with sugar, and allow them to stand for an hour or two. Crush the berries with wooden spoon, and squeeze through a cheesecloth bag. Add water, lemon juice and slightly beaten egg white. Freeze.
