FROZEN CUSTARD
1 quart hot milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
Few grains salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat the eggs, add sugar and salt, and gradually add the hot milk. Cook in a double boiler, stirring constantly, until the custard coats the spoon. Cool, add vanilla, and freeze.
