Oatmeal Fruit Macaroons
1/4 cup chopped raisins
2 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
Mix 1 4 cup chopped raisins or dates with 21/2 cups rolled oats and 1 2 teaspoon salt. Beat 2 eggs until light add 1/2 cup sugar 2 table spoons corn syrup and 1 tablespoon melted butter. Add raisins, oats, and salt and mix well. Shape in small mounds on a greased baking pan, and bake in a moderate oven.
